Lianyungang Port and China-Kazakhstan enterprises sign a quadrilateral cooperation agreement on the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor.
On July 15, Lianyungang Port Holding Group participated in the Kazakhstan-China Logistics and Transportation Cooperation and E-commerce Forum in Shanghai and signed a four-party cooperation agreement to jointly promote the "Three Hubs Integration" construction of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor.
During the forum's signing ceremony, Lianyungang Port Holding Group, Kazakhstan National Railway Company, China Railway Container Transport Co., Ltd., and COSCO Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. jointly signed the "Cooperation Agreement on Promoting the Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative." The four parties intend to conduct in-depth cooperation around the Aktau Port container hub, the "Khorgos-East Gate" dry port, and the Lianyungang railway container terminal, focusing on building an operational framework for the "Three Hubs Integration" of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor.

Lianyungang Port Holding Group also signed the "Phase II Cooperation Intent Agreement for the Aktau Port Container Hub Project" and the "Information Interaction and Electronic Transport Document Exchange Agreement" with Kazakhstan National Railway Company and KTZ Express JSC, further deepening the strategic layout of China-Kazakhstan logistics cooperation and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the "Three Hubs Integration."
During the forum, Wang Guochao, Party Secretary and Chairman of Lianyungang Port Holding Group, delivered a keynote speech titled "Jointly Building a Land-Sea Intermodal Transport Corridor and Writing a New Chapter in China-Kazakhstan Cooperation." He elaborated on the unique advantages of Lianyungang Port as the eastern starting point of the New Eurasian Land Bridge and the gateway hub for Eurasian land-sea intermodal transport from three dimensions: the continuous enhancement of port functions, the accelerated formation of the "Three Hubs Integration," and the innovative upgrade of the logistics chain's digital intelligence. He stated that Lianyungang Port is currently accelerating the construction of a new Eurasian land-sea intermodal transport data corridor and deploying a unified TOS system for the "Three Hubs," enabling full-chain data element exchange among ports, railways, and customs.
It is reported that this forum was jointly organized by the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan National Railway Company, focusing on exchanges and cooperation in areas such as transportation management automation, the development of multimodal transport services, and logistics digitalization. It provided a direct dialogue platform for government departments of Kazakhstan and China, logistics and transportation enterprises, operators of maritime, railway, road, and aviation infrastructure, technology companies, and investors.
