People's Daily Online Nanjing, February 28 (Jiang Nan) On February 28, Qixia District of Nanjing held a regional shipping logistics center promotion meeting, where two "Ten Actions" plans were released in conjunction with port units stationed in the district, and multiple rounds of signing were conducted simultaneously.
The two action plans released this time support each other and work in the same direction. Among them, the "Ten Key Actions for Building a Regional Shipping Logistics Center in Qixia District" focuses on key areas such as hub level leap, port industry upgrade, and shipping ecosystem empowerment, striving to invest no less than 20 billion yuan in major port and collection and distribution projects within three years, develop no less than 10 green intelligent application scenarios, and invest no less than 10 billion yuan in port industry, providing a "roadmap" for the integrated development of port, industry, and city.
The "Ten Escort Actions to Support High-Quality Development of Port and Shipping Enterprises by Port Units Stationed in the District" was jointly launched by 10 port units stationed in the district, including Jinling Customs, Nanjing Maritime Safety Administration, and Nanjing Branch of Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau, covering aspects such as port efficiency upgrade, data integration and smooth flow, and cross-district coordination and linkage. Specific measures include ensuring the smoothness of the 12.5-meter deep-water channel in the Qixia section of the Yangtze River, promoting the navigation of the North Channel of Hechangzhou, and achieving the regular "direct entry and exit" and "direct docking and departure" of sea-going ships entering the port; promoting customs supervision, maritime approval and inspection, and cross-border platform data integration and sharing, achieving real-time data interconnection at all stages.
A relevant person in charge of Qixia District stated that the above two "Ten Actions" will further highlight the core position of Qixia Port Area in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, helping it accelerate to become an important shipping logistics hub connecting the Yangtze River Delta and radiating the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River, injecting strong momentum into the construction of a regional shipping logistics center.
Multiple rounds of signing cooperation were conducted simultaneously at the promotion meeting. The Qixia District Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Maritime Institute, leveraging the institute's advantages in maritime technology, ship engineering, and other fields to cooperate in port and shipping talent cultivation, scientific research achievement transformation, and industry think tank construction; Longtan Port Industry and City Management Office signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Nanjing Yangtze River Shipping Logistics Center Investment and Construction Co., Ltd., focusing on the construction of Longtan National Shipping Logistics Hub, strengthening business coordination, and achieving resource sharing and complementary advantages.
