Zhejiang government and enterprises jointly promote the green transformation of port logistics and transportation equipment.

Recently, the 2026 Zhejiang Port Logistics New Energy Transportation Equipment Application Promotion and Exchange Conference was held in Ningbo. Government authorities, industry experts, senior executives from port logistics and transportation companies, as well as new energy equipment and service providers, gathered to build consensus, discuss the promotion path of new energy transportation equipment in port logistics, and drive the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of Zhejiang's port logistics.

Currently, Zhejiang is accelerating the construction of a world-class strong port and "Shipping Zhejiang." The port sector is rapidly transitioning and upgrading towards green intelligence, collaborative innovation, and new quality development. With a large number of port freight trucks and concentrated transportation scenarios, it has become a key area for the large-scale application of new energy heavy-duty trucks.

The conference focused on the key aspects of achieving large-scale application of new energy heavy-duty trucks, aiming to streamline the entire green logistics chain and build a cross-sector collaborative green logistics system. Xia Bingrong, Chairman of the Zhejiang Port Association, stated that the association will leverage its role as a bridge between government and enterprises, conduct regular grassroots research, and address industry demands. It will provide services such as technical consulting, resource matching, and industry exchanges to precisely align port logistics application scenarios with equipment manufacturing and energy replenishment services.

At the conference, experts from the Zhejiang Provincial Development Planning Research Institute and relevant officials from the Provincial Highway Transportation Management Center analyzed support policies for the large-scale application of new energy heavy-duty trucks and the development trends of transportation electrification, providing references for the green transformation of port logistics. Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group and Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the transition of port logistics new energy equipment from policy guidance to market-oriented and large-scale application, injecting new momentum into the construction of Zhejiang's green port logistics system.
