H.E. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif noted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, and that the China–Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership has remained enduring and resilient over time. He remarked that Zhejiang is a place where President Xi Jinping once worked, and that during his first visit to Zhejiang, he was deeply impressed by its beautiful scenery, orderly urban planning, and outstanding governance.
He emphasized that economic and trade exchanges between China and Pakistan have remained close, with tremendous room for future development. He expressed the hope that both sides would further deepen cooperation in areas including agriculture, the digital economy and artificial intelligence, special economic zone development, and mineral resource exploitation, so as to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefit. He also sincerely hoped that enterprises from both countries would strengthen exchanges and cooperation, jointly embrace a brighter future, and continue writing new chapters in China–Pakistan friendship.

Qian Xiaojun stated that China’s mature industrial chains, supply chain advantages, and digital operational capabilities are highly aligned with Pakistan’s urgent needs for industrial upgrading and industrial digital transformation. Relying on the newly inaugurated IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters and IBI’s mature “6+N” full-chain service system, the company will provide enterprises from both countries with one-stop, end-to-end services covering cross-border trade, intelligent logistics, digital supply chain development, cloud AI empowerment, joint project facilitation, and investment compliance support. Through these efforts, IBI aims to comprehensively empower the co-development of the China–Pakistan industrial ecosystem and contribute industrial internet momentum to the China–Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

In her remarks at the banquet, Liu Junzhai stated that Beijing’s Fengtai District, as a new hub for China’s innovation-driven economy, has developed strong industrial clustering effects in sectors such as the digital economy, finance, and advanced manufacturing, and is becoming one of the most convenient gateways for Pakistani enterprises entering the Chinese market.
She noted that IBI is working together with the Fengtai District Government and the Embassy of Pakistan in China to establish a China–Pakistan enterprise service platform aimed at promoting the normalization and institutionalization of bilateral industrial cooperation. She further emphasized that Fengtai’s industrial strengths are highly aligned with Pakistan’s development needs in areas including artificial intelligence, new energy, agricultural and food processing, and telecommunications equipment. IBI will continue to fully leverage its role as a bridge and link between the two sides, deepen enterprise matchmaking and cooperation, and inject sustained momentum into the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
