Today's carbon black market prices saw mixed fluctuations. As of now, the price of mainstream N330 carbon black products is 6,500 yuan/ton in Shandong; 6,250 yuan/ton in Shanxi; 6,600 yuan/ton in Hebei; 6,600 yuan/ton in Guangzhou; and 6,500 yuan/ton in Zhejiang.
03 Carbon Black Market Impact Analysis
1. Upstream Raw Materials: Coal tar prices are 3,450 yuan/ton in Shandong; 3,400 yuan/ton in Shanxi; and 3,465 yuan/ton in Hebei. The domestic high-temperature coal tar market is showing a downward trend, but the decline has narrowed significantly.
2. Carbon Black Supply: Carbon black plant operating rates have declined. Some factories in Shandong and Shanxi have suspended operations for maintenance, while those previously under maintenance have not yet resumed operations, resulting in a decline in market operating rates during the week.
3. Downstream Demand: Plants under maintenance have not yet resumed operations, and the overall operating rate remains relatively low. It is reported that some factories will gradually resume night shifts, which will drive a recovery in the overall operating rate and maintain generally stable shipments.

Currently, the raw material coal tar market has shown weakness, with negative market conditions. Although new orders in the carbon black market have been priced positively, actual orders have been slow to follow through. Downstream resistance is evident, and delivery prices are low.
