The 80-meter multi-purpose platform supply vessel constructed by Guangzhou Salvage Bureau was delivered to Qatar. Recently, the 80-meter multipurpose platform supply vessel (MPSV) "HALUL 54," built by the Guangzhou Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, was delivered in Xinhui, Jiangmen, Guangdong, to Qatar's MILAHA company.The multipurpose platform supply vessel is known as the "all-rounder" in offshore operations. It integrates various functions, including material transportation, equipment hoisting, underwater operations support, personnel transfer, and offshore living support. It can be adapted to various marine engineering applications such as offshore oil and gas development and offshore wind power construction.The delivered "HALUL 54" vessel is 80 meters long, 21 meters wide, and 7.2 meters deep. The ship is equipped with specialized compartments, including fuel tanks, freshwater tanks, and dry cargo holds, enabling simultaneous transportation of materials, equipment, and fuel. It features a spacious 650-square-meter working deck with 30-ton lifting equipment and a moon pool, strongly supporting underwater operations and offshore equipment hoisting. The vessel can accommodate 120 personnel on board, is equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system, and integrates advanced automation control and communication navigation equipment. It can achieve precise positioning under complex sea conditions, ensuring the safe and efficient advancement of offshore operations.The successful delivery of the "HALUL 54" vessel fully demonstrates China's self-building capabilities in salvage and marine engineering manufacturing. It is another significant achievement of salvage intelligent manufacturing in serving the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
