Chemicals giant Nouryon announces new innovation center and expanded office space in Mumbai, India
Nouryon, a global specialty chemicals powerhouse, announces the launch of its new Innovation Center and expanded office space in Mumbai, India, nearly doubling its former office space to cater for its ever-growing Global Service Center. The Innovation Center serves key end markets including paints and coatings, agriculture, and home and personal care. The Nouryon sales and global research and development teams will closely interact with customers to provide technical support. The new larger Mumbai office occupies 100,000 square feet and currently accommodates around 325 employees with a potential for growth.

The Operations Center in India includes commercial teams dedicated to business development within India and functional hubs that support Nouryon's global growth strategies. All set to provide world-class service combined with local and global support. " Among different capabilities, the Innovation Center facility covers the development of water-based paints and formulations in asphalt and building and construction applications. It is expected to specialize in powder formulations and seed coating formulations, outfitted with specialized machinery to coat seeds and enhance their protection and performance in agriculture. In the area of home and personal care, the Innovation Center provides advanced applications support for surfactants, chelating agents, fabric softener actives, hair styling polymers, and starches.
Nouryon has operated in India since 1991 and has grown its presence to encapsulate a Global Service Center in Mumbai that has a commercial team focused on key end-markets including pharma, personal care, cleaning, crop nutrition, paints, coatings, and packaging. The Mahad site is operating and develops organic peroxides and, metal alkyls, and has been in operation for the past 30 years-Nouryon's own site located, like its Mumbai office and Innovation Center. Nouryon actively engages in supporting programs with financial and voluntary assistance to the differently-abled children in Sunshine School_Vashi, Navi Mumbai, donations, and voluntary service in Vatsalya Trust Balikashram, Mumbai, drink water access in Kusgaon village, Mahad. Besides, it has donated an ambulance to enhance health services for Mahad's 60,000 residents.
