Exports overseas are expected to continue to grow, titanium dioxide prices rise

On January 22, 2024, China Nuclear Titanium Dioxide, the leading manufacturer of titanium dioxide, announced in a disclosure announcement that the company will comprehensively increase the sales prices of all models of titanium dioxide starting from January 19, 2024. Among them, the sales price for domestic customers is increased by 500 yuan/ton, and the sales price for international customers is increased by US$100/ton. Just three days ago, companies including Longbai Group and Huiyun Titanium also announced price increases.

After the beginning of 2024, major Chinese manufacturers have already promoted the first round of titanium dioxide price increases. According to many institutions, the sales volume of overseas titanium dioxide manufacturers will decline significantly in 2023, and Chinese titanium dioxide manufacturers are sharing the dividends of overseas markets. For 2024, many institutions believe that the pace of repair in China's coatings field and the fulfillment of expectations for continued growth in overseas exports deserve the market's focus.
