Supply:
Foreign: Weather improved in Thailand this week, but geopolitical conflicts persisted, keeping cup rubber prices firm. Seasonal production in Vietnam increased, but factories increased their purchase prices, supporting strong raw material prices.
Domestic: Continuous rainfall in Yunnan suppressed raw material output, keeping rubber prices high. Improved weather in Hainan has allowed rubber tapping to resume, but the pace remains slow, with factories restocking, pushing up raw material prices.
Demand: It is understood that companies undergoing maintenance have resumed operations, and plant operations are gradually returning to normal levels. Most other companies are operating steadily. However, some semi-steel tire companies, due to insufficient overall orders, have implemented rotating maintenance, which has had a negative impact on overall output. Recent foreign trade shipments have been concentrated, and some specifications are out of stock in the domestic market.

Today, the main rubber futures contract continued its volatile pattern, with traders offering firm quotes and some products trading within a narrow range. Strong upstream raw material prices provided solid support for rubber prices. Spot inventories continued to decline, but downstream demand remained generally weak, maintaining a small amount of just-in-time restocking. In the short term, driven by both cost pressures and tightening supply, natural rubber prices are likely to remain relatively strong.
