Market Analysis

Spot Market
Supply:
Overseas: Parts of northeastern Thailand continued to experience periodic rainfall disturbances. However, improved weather in southern Thailand led to a gradual increase in raw material output, which in turn weakened raw material prices. Typhoons and rainfall impacted Vietnamese production areas, resulting in a contraction in rubber supply. Meanwhile, processing plants were actively fulfilling orders and continued to purchase, supporting an upward trend in rubber prices.
Domestic: Rainfall disturbances persisted in Yunnan production areas, but due to the weakening of futures and spot prices, raw material prices remained stable but slightly weak. Weather conditions in Hainan production areas were favorable, rubber tapping operations continued as normal, and raw material output showed a seasonal increase. Due to post-holiday demand for replenishment and delivery, local processing plants continued to pay a premium for raw materials.
On the demand side: It is understood that sample enterprises that underwent maintenance during the National Day holiday have resumed work and production as planned, and plant production is gradually recovering. Overall shipment performance during the holiday was below expectations, and finished product inventory reduction was slow.
Futures and Spot Price List
Market Forecast
Today, the main rubber futures contract saw a volatile decline, with spot prices declining in tandem with the market's center of gravity. Rainfall in overseas producing areas continues to disrupt raw material supply, providing continued support on the cost side. However, recent rainfall in producing areas has shown a weakening trend, and supply growth expectations are relatively strong. With a mix of bullish and bearish market factors, rubber prices will continue to fluctuate in the short term.
