Titanium Ore
Today's Panxi titanium ore price index is 1868.75, up 6.25 points from the previous business day. Following the holiday, major Panxi mills increased their prices by 50 yuan/ton. Furthermore, Panzhihua Iron and Steel increased its outsourcing of raw ore this month. As a result, prices for small and medium-sized titanium ores in the surrounding area remain stable, and the market is in a wait-and-see mood.
Titanium Slag
In October, the bidding price for high-titanium slag from northern enterprises was 5,440 yuan/ton, down 210 yuan/ton from September. High-titanium slag prices are relatively low. Yunnan's electricity prices began to rise in October, and production costs continue to increase, putting pressure on titanium slag prices.
The market price for titanium tetrachloride is 5,000-5,300 yuan/ton. The overall market is stable, with firm quotes from companies. Supported by stable downstream demand, titanium tetrachloride prices remain stable.
Titanium Sponge
Prices for consumer grade titanium sponge are around 48,000-49,000 yuan/ton, while some market prices for grade 0 titanium sponge are around 49,000-50,000 yuan/ton. Some factories have high inventories, facing significant pressure to ship goods, and market confidence is low, leading to a continued weakening trend in titanium sponge prices.
Today's titanium dioxide price index is 13,407.75, unchanged from the previous business day. Following the lead of leading companies, the market saw another surge in prices after the holiday. A total of 18 titanium dioxide companies have issued notices, with price increases mostly ranging from 300 yuan/ton. The market is generally waiting to see how the new prices will be implemented this month.
