Titanium Ore

Although the downstream market demand is limited, due to the influence of reduced supply, miners in some regions have the intention to raise prices, the market quotation continues to be strong, and the titanium ore market remains stable. The titanium ore in Yunnan may be affected by the decline in the start-up of acid slag.

Titanium slag
The titanium slag market is running at a low level. In December, the bidding price of 90% low calcium magnesium high titanium slag of northern enterprises was 6950 yuan/ton, which was 200 yuan/ton higher than the price last month. Recently, due to the reduction in downstream demand, the shipment volume of acid slag has decreased, the cost is high, and the production pressure of slag plants is relatively large. The start-up rate of acid slag may continue to decline in the later period.

Titanium tetrachloride
The market quotation of titanium tetrachloride is 6000-6400 yuan/ton. Recently, the titanium tetrachloride market has been running smoothly, enterprises have delivered orders on hand, supply and demand are relatively stable, raw material costs are high, and prices continue to remain stable.

Sponge titanium
The price of first-grade sponge titanium civilian products is around 44,000-46,000 yuan/ton. The inventory of sponge titanium enterprises is still good, the market price is stable, and the sponge titanium market will be temporarily stable.

Titanium dioxide
Today's titanium dioxide price index is 14749.99, which is the same as yesterday. Recently, the titanium dioxide market appears to be stable on the surface, but undercurrents are surging. Demand is still weak. Some companies are not under great inventory pressure, but the market still lacks positive factors. In the short term, the titanium dioxide market may be consolidated.
