Today's Panxi Titanium Ore Price Index is 1935.00, unchanged from yesterday. Titanium ore market inquiries are weak, companies remain cautious, and new order signings are at a stalemate, temporarily stabilizing titanium ore prices.
This month, the tender price for 90% low-calcium-magnesium, high-titanium slag from northern companies is 6,300 yuan/ton, down 390 yuan/ton from the previous month. The tender price for 87% slag is 5,700 yuan/ton. High-titanium slag faces significant cost pressures, low market utilization, weak downstream demand, and high shipping pressure, keeping prices low.
The market price for titanium tetrachloride is 5,000-5,500 yuan/ton. Weak downstream demand is putting pressure on titanium tetroxide exports and creating significant price competition. Prices in northern China are expected to decline next month.
Titanium Sponge
Prices for consumer titanium sponge products are around 48,000-52,000 yuan/ton, with some market prices for grade 0 titanium sponge around 50,000-53,000 yuan/ton. Weaker downstream demand is creating significant pressure on the supply and demand balance of titanium sponge.
Major titanium sponge manufacturers are beginning to reduce production in the second half of the year, and new capacity additions are expected to boost production growth. Consequently, titanium sponge prices remain stable for the time being.
