China Classification Society releases "Domestic New Energy Ship Types 2026"

Driven by China's dual carbon strategy and the policy of scrapping and renewing old operational ships, the shipping industry is accelerating its green and low-carbon transformation. In 2026, the China Classification Society will once again collaborate with the industry to release plans for eight types of domestic new energy ship models, providing references for the selection of new energy ship types in various domestic waters.

600-passenger Methanol-powered Luxury Yangtze River Cruise Ship

The world's first inland luxury tourist passenger ship equipped with a single methanol fuel power system. Fuel substitution rate exceeds 90%, and fuel operating costs are reduced by approximately 30%. Integrating intelligent equipment technology, it comprehensively enhances the comfort and intelligence level of the ship's living environment.
