Simultaneously, Ocean Network Express (ONE) announces a strategic restructuring of its Mediterranean services. The revamp includes an updated ST2 service and the launch of two new intra-Europe routes, AS1 and AS2, aimed at enhancing network connectivity and operational flexibility. The restructured ST2 service is scheduled to commence with its first call at Alexandria on February 25, 2026. In a major fleet expansion move, Evergreen Marine has placed an order for 23 new container ships, with an estimated total value between $1.2 and $1.47 billion. The order comprises vessels of 3,100 and 5,900 TEU capacities, a strategic investment to increase overall fleet capacity and strengthen the carrier's global network coverage and service resilience.
