Analysis on Resin Import and Export Data of April 2023

According to customs data, the final import volume of natural rubber in China (including technical classifications, latex, smoked sheets, primary shapes, mixed rubber, and composite rubber) in April 2023 was 569,100 tons, a decrease of 4.87% compared with the previous month and an increase of 33.31% compared with the same period last year. The accumulated import volume from January to April was 2.2944 million tons, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 16.99%.

Technical Classifications Natural Rubber

The final import volume of technical classifications natural rubber in April 2023 is 175,800 tons, which is a month-on-month increase of 8.67% and a year-on-year increase of 51.56% compared with last year.

From January to April 2023,China's accumulated import volume was 595,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.95% compared with last year.

Among them, the main import source countries are Thailand, Côte d'Ivoire, Indonesia and Malaysia, accounting for 33.86%, 33.82%, 16.96% and 11.12% of the total import volume in April respectively, in which Thailand ranked first.

Natural Latex

The final import volume of the natural latex (40011000) in April 2023 is 37,200 tons, which is a month-on-month decrease of 36.17% and a year-on-year decrease of 5.10% compared with last year.

From January to April 2023,China's accumulated import volume was 170,300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.56% compared with last year.

Among them, the main import source countries are Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia, accounting for 90.22%, 7.52% and 1.98% of the total import volume in April respectively, in which Thailand ranked first.

Natural Latex Smoked Sheet

The final import volume of the natural latex smoked sheet (40012100) in April 2023 is 7,500 tons, which is a month-on-month decrease of 40.78% and a year-on-year decrease of 62.79% compared with last year.

From January to April 2023,China's accumulated import volume was 52,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 38.63% compared with last year.

Among them, the main import source countries are Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar, accounting for 71.39%, 17.65% and 5.87% of the total import volume in April respectively.  

The Mixture of Natural Rubber and Synthetic Rubber

The final import volume of the mixture of natural rubber and synthetic rubber (40028000) in April 2023 is 335,600 tons, which is a month-on-month decrease of 3.53% and a year-on-year increase of 57.93% compared with last year.

From January to April 2023,China's accumulated import volume was 1,419,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 34.18% compared with last year.  

Among them, the main import source countries are Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, accounting for 61.4%, 21.73%, and 10.28% of the total import volume in April respectively.
