TPE: TPE has good weather resistance, fatigue resistance and temperature resistance, excellent processing performance, no need to vulcanize, no need to add plasticizer, can be recycled to reduce costs, and can also be used for secondary injection molding. Because of its high temperature resistance and no additives, it will not emit peculiar smell in summer.
Comparison between PVC and TPE
Compared with the defects in the processing of PVC, TPE is more suitable for use in high temperature environment in summer, and is also more suitable for families with pregnant women and infants. After all, health problems cannot be underestimated. However, the disadvantages of TPE are the high requirements of injection molding process, the difficulty of mold development, and the price of TPE raw materials is about one-third higher than that of PVC. Due to the development cost and other reasons, tpe floor mats are not as many as pvc floor mats on the market, and only a few manufacturers such as 3W in China choose all TPE materials for production.
