In January 2023, PVC production in China reached 1.9139 million tons, marking a 5.99% month-on-month increase and a 2.86% year-on-year rise. The calcium carbide method contributed 1.4703 million tons, while the ethylene method produced 0.4436 million tons. The operating rate stood at 81.76%, slightly down from the previous year.
