Analysis on PVC production: In March 2023, the domestic PVC production reached 1.9584 million tons, up 9.45% month-on-month while down 1.28% year-on-year. Among them, the production of calcium carbide method was 1.4712 million tons, up 8.17% month-on-month while down 8.76% year-on-year. The production of ethylene method was 0.4872 million tons, up 10.19% month-on-month and 28.81% year-on-year,a cumulative year-on-year increase of 27%. PVC production accumulated at 5.6616 million tons from January to March.
Analysis on PVC plant operating rate: The domestic PVC plant operating rate was 83.66% in March 2023, down 4.1% from last year while increased by 5.32% month-on-month.
