In September 2022, the domestic output of polypropylene (PP) was 2.3793 million tons, a slight increase from August but a decrease compared to last year. The starting rate for PP plants was 76.70%. Meanwhile, polyethylene (PE) output was 1.9594 million tons, down from the previous month but up year-on-year, with a starting load of 82.00%. The cumulative outputs from January to September were 21.8243 million tons for PP and 18.942 million tons for PE.

In September 2022, the starting load of PP plant will be about 76.70%, with a month on month increase of 3.84% and a year-on-year decrease of 10.92%.

The output of polyethylene

In September 2022, the domestic PE output was 1.9594 million tons, a month on month decrease of 2.96% and a year-on-year increase of 2.12%. From January to September, the cumulative domestic PP output was 18.942 million tons.

The start rate of polyethylene

In September 2022, the starting load of PE plant will be about 82.00%, an increase of 7.23% month on month and 3.18% year on year.
