Titanium industry news: September Data For Titanium products.
According to the customs data for the month of September, China imported a total of 202,700 tons of titanium ores, a growth of over 62.45% compared on a year-to-year basis. However, it is a reduction of 9.06% compared to the previous month. From the month of Jan-Sept, the total import accumulated to 2,174,900 Tons, titanium ores, an increase of 20.71% compared to last year.
The top three countries that China imported the Titanium ores from are: Mozambique, South Africa and Vietnam. Each of these countries consists of 41%, 26% and 12% of total imports respectively.
In September of 2020, China exported a total of 2,342 tons of Titanium ores, an increase of 16.52% compared to last September, and an increase of 85.21% compared to the previous month. During the month of Jan – Sept, the total export of Titanium ores amounted to 18,481 tons, an increase of 7.21% compared to last year.
According to customs data, Chinese exports of Titanium Dioxide amounted to 111,800 tons, an increase of 33.45% compared to last September but a decrease of 4.51% compared to the previous month. From Jan – Sept the total export of Titanium Dioxide amounted to 890,200 tons, an increase of 20.07% from last year.
The top 3 countries of export for Titanium dioxide are: India, Brazil and South Korea, which amount to 14%, 9% and 6% respectively.
During September of 2020, Chinese imports of Titanium Dioxide were 14,600 Tons, an increase of 30.4% compared to last September, as well as an increase of 18.72% compared to the previous month. From January to September, a total of 123,100 tons of Titanium Dioxide was imported, an increase of 4.94% compared to the previous year.
The top 3 regions with Titanium Dioxide imports are: Chinese Taiwan, Mexico, and Australia. Which each consist of 42%, 14%, 12%.
In September, the average Titanium Dioxide import price was at 2744.87 USD per ton, a decrease of 5% compared to last month. The average Titanium Dioxide export price was at 1784.65 USD per ton, a decrease of 0.1% compared to the previous month.
In September, the import of Titanium Sponge was at 84.4 Tons, a decrease of 90.47% compared to last September, also a decrease of 5.53% compared to the previous month. From January to September, the collective amount of import of Titanium sponge amounted to 3606.5 Tons, a decrease of 41.01% compared to the previous year.
The export of Titanium sponge in September totaled 102.4 Tons, a decrease of 42.15% compared to last September. However, it is an increase of 335.74% compared to the previous month. Collectively from January to September, the total export of Titanium Sponge amounted to 515.5 Tons, a decrease of 27.68% compared to last year.
