聚氯乙烯薄膜均不溶解于水、酒精、汽油，在醚、酮、氯代脂肪烃和芳烃中能溶胀或者溶解，常温下，耐浓盐酸、90％的硫酸、50％－60％的硝酸以及20％以下的烧碱溶液。
PVC film is insoluble in water, alcohol, gasoline, and can swell or dissolve in ethers, ketones, chlorinated fatty hydrocarbons, and aromatic hydrocarbons. It is resistant to concentrated hydrochloric acid, 90% sulfuric acid, 50-60% nitric acid, and less than 20% caustic soda solution at room temperature.
