Features

Excellent lubricity: Calcium stearate molecules have a polar head and a non-polar tail. In plastic processing, it can make the plastic melt flow more easily and facilitate molding; in rubber processing, it can improve the processing performance of rubber, making it easier to mix and mold.

High stability: Calcium stearate is stable at room temperature and pressure, and is not easy to react chemically with other substances. At the same time, it has good thermal stability. Although it will slowly decompose when heated to 400℃, it can remain stable within the general processing temperature range, can withstand the high temperature in the processing of plastics, rubber, etc., and will not lose its lubricating properties or produce harmful impurities due to heat.

In addition, it also has a certain degree of water resistance and weather resistance, is not easily dissolved by water or oxidized and deteriorated in the air, and can play a lubricating role for a long time.

Good compatibility: It has good compatibility with a variety of polymer materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), etc. It can be evenly dispersed in the polymer matrix to form a stable system without stratification or precipitation, thereby effectively playing a lubricating role without affecting the physical, mechanical and other properties of the polymer.

Application field

Plastic industry: It is a commonly used lubricant and release agent in plastic processing. In PVC processing, it can be used as an internal lubricant, and the dosage is generally 0.1-0.4 parts. It can reduce the friction between molecules, promote plasticization, and improve the fluidity of the melt. It can also be used in combination with other external lubricants to improve the surface quality and demolding performance of the product.

In the processing of polyolefins such as PE and PP, it can eliminate the adverse effects of residual catalysts on the color and stability of the resin, and at the same time play a lubricating role, reduce friction and wear during processing, and improve production efficiency.
