Precautions for use of water-based color paste

1. The water-based color paste has good miscibility with a variety of water-based system coatings. However, before using the product, we still suggest that you conduct miscibility test first to avoid unnecessary problems.

2. The color paste shall be fully stirred before use to prevent the addition of color paste from being affected by precipitation.

3. The color paste department can add the color paste to the paint at a uniform speed after being diluted with clean water, or directly add the color paste to the stirred paint slowly (if the content of wetting agent and dispersant in the paint is small, carbon black is recommended to be added after dilution).

4. If there is surplus color paste after use, it shall be sealed in time to ensure the tightness of the package, so as to avoid pollution or skinning affecting the product quality.

Influence of latex paint formula rationality on weather resistance of color paste
1. The selection of pigments and fillers, the application of additives, the type and content of lotion, the type and content of titanium, as well as the formulation process and production process of emulsion paint, including construction process, will affect the weather resistance of emulsion paint.

2. Fillers and pigments that are too alkaline and easy to pulverize (such as anatase titanium) should not be selected in exterior wall coatings.

3. Relatively speaking, the higher the content of lotion and titanium, the better the color retention of emulsion paint. It is suggested that the amount of lotion applied to exterior wall paint should be greater than 30% to ensure the color retention performance of exterior wall color paste.

4. When the formula of emulsion paint remains unchanged, the dark paint with the same color paste has better weather resistance than the light paint. When the specified same color is called out, the color paint with high titanium content has better weather resistance and large brushing area than the color paint with low titanium content.

5. When making special dark exterior walls, after selecting the color paste, on the premise of ensuring the covering power of the coating, the amount of titanium in the coating shall be appropriately reduced to reduce the amount of color paste.
