Description

Dioctyl Adipate is an organic typical cold resistant plasticizer.Dioctyl Adipate is produced by the reaction of     adipic acid and 2-ethylhexanol in the presence of catalyst like sulfuric acid. DOA is known as a highly efficient monomeric ester plasticizer. 

Applications

Due to the extreme good flexibility,low temperature and good electrical properties, Dioctyl Adipate (DOA) is used as a plasticizer.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products: Widely used in the production of soft PVC products, such as PVC film, artificial leather, wires and cables, plastic shoes, etc.

In PVC film, it can make the film soft and transparent, and have good low-temperature performance, suitable for agricultural covering film, packaging film, etc.; in wires and cables, it can improve the flexibility, low-temperature resistance and aging resistance of the insulation layer and sheath, and ensure the safe use of wires and cables under different environmental conditions.

Other polymer products: It can also be used for plasticization modification of polyolefin plastics such as PE and PP, improve their flexibility and processing performance, and expand their application range; it can also be used in rubber products to improve the flexibility, cold resistance and processing performance of rubber, making rubber products more suitable for use in low-temperature environments.

Characteristics
