Polyvinyl chloride (Polyviny!chloride, abbreviated as PVC) is a synthetic polymer material made by polymerizing vinyl chloride monomers.
Basic Properties
Chemical Composition: The chemical formula is (C2H,CI), appearing as a white powder or slightly colored translucent solid, with a density of approximately 1.38g/cm.
Physical Properties: It has good chemical corrosion resistance and excellent electrical insulation, but poor impact resistance. It is unstable to heat and oxygen and tends to degrade easily.
Classification: Classified into rigid PVC (such as UPVC, with less plasticizer and high mechanical strength) and flexible PVC (with more plasticizer and good flexibility) based on the content of plasticizer.
