Shanghai Baiyan Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded by Zhejiang merchants in Songjiang, Shanghai. It is a joint-stock enterprise integrating scientific research and production. Building on its original production of organic and inorganic pigments, the company invested in establishing an ultra-fine carbon black factory in 2011. In 2013, it began developing water-based color pastes and set up a production base in Haiyan, Zhejiang. In 2016, Taizhou Baiyan Coating Technology Co., Ltd. was established. In 2017, the company acquired over 30,000 square meters of land in Tongling City, Anhui Province to expand three pigment carbon black production lines and other projects. After several years of development, the company introduced a group of senior industry experts and colleges and universities for joint research and development. Most of its products meet the EU ROHS non-toxic environmental standards and have reached international leading levels. The company also has self-operated import and export rights. The import and export department promotes the factory's excellent products to countries around the world while introducing imported pigments and additives to China, adding strength to the national industry.
