Titanium Ore
Today the Panxi titanium ore price index stood at 1388.75, flat compared to yesterday. The domestic titanium ore market remained sluggish, with weak new order transactions and prices maintaining a downward trend. Titanium ore prices continued to decline under pressure, and it is reported that large producers will further reduce their prices this month. On the import side, the imported titanium ore market was under pressure, with low prices continuously emerging and prices in significant disarray. Ore merchants faced high inventory pressure, and imported titanium ore maintained a weak performance.
Titanium Slag
In July, the tender price for 90% low-calcium-magnesium high-titanium slag at northern enterprises was RMB 5,400/ton, down RMB 50/ton from June. High-titanium slag faced significant cost pressure from raw materials, the number of enterprises in operation was low, and high-titanium slag prices remained temporarily weak but stable.
Titanium Tetrachloride
Titanium tetrachloride was quoted at RMB 5,800-6,000/ton. The titanium tetrachloride market remained stable overall. Recently, raw material costs were relatively stable with limited impact on the market. Combined with the low external sales volume of titanium tetrachloride enterprises, the market is expected to continue operating steadily in the short term.
Sponge Titanium
The sponge titanium market continued to weaken. The mainstream quotation for Grade 0 sponge titanium was around RMB 45,000-46,000/ton, and the mainstream quotation for Grade 1 sponge titanium for civilian use was around RMB 44,000-45,000/ton. Sponge titanium shipments remained sluggish. This month, some factories slightly reduced their production, supply remained under pressure, and prices continued to trend weakly and steadily.
Titanium Dioxide
Today the titanium dioxide price index stood at 14676.56, flat compared to yesterday. Downstream demand was weak, overall market shipments were sluggish, operating rates at large titanium dioxide producers declined, and market supply remained ample. Prices maintained a weak trend. As titanium dioxide prices continued to fall, enterprise prices were mostly approaching the cost line, leaving limited room for further price reductions. Market sentiment remained cautious, and the titanium dioxide market continued to be weak.
