Dalian Communication Center collaborates with maritime units to launch joint patrols for the fishing season.
Recently, the Beihai Navigation Support Center Dalian Communication Center, in collaboration with Dalian Maritime Safety Administration, Dalian Navigation Mark Office, Dalian Coast Guard Bureau, Municipal Ocean Development Bureau, and Municipal Coastal Security Bureau, launched the "Four Seas as One" special joint patrol for fishing season navigation, fully ensuring the stability and controllability of the water safety situation during the fishing season in the jurisdiction.
During the joint patrol, personnel from the Beihai Navigation Support Center Dalian Communication Center used the "Sea Eagle" integrated water radio detection equipment to monitor the electromagnetic environment of surrounding waters. They scanned, identified, and analyzed the usage of nine communication channels, focusing on measuring and recording parameters such as signal strength, channel occupancy, and background noise for communication channels like Very High Frequency (VHF), Digital Selective Calling (DSC) distress alerts, and Automatic Identification System (AIS). They investigated potential radio interference issues, effectively maintaining order in water radio communications. Additionally, by utilizing the vessel status function of the equipment, they conducted AIS information compliance monitoring of surrounding vessels, checking for irregularities such as abnormal MMSI or location anomalies, providing technical support for patrol supervision.
Through this joint action for fishing season navigation escort, the pressure of maritime navigation during the fishing season was effectively addressed, fully demonstrating the practical value of integrated navigation support and maritime supervision. Next, the Beihai Navigation Support Center Dalian Communication Center will continue to deepen cross-department collaboration, strengthen water safety communication support, and strive to maintain a safe and smooth maritime navigation environment, ensuring high-quality completion of all navigation support tasks for this year's fishing season.
