Shanghai International Port Group launches an artificial intelligence innovation product system.
From July 17 to 20, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference was held in Shanghai. On July 19, the "Shanghai International Port Group · AI Empowering Smart Port Global Shipping Ecosystem Forum," hosted by Shanghai International Port (Group), opened at the Shanghai World Expo Center. At the same time, Shanghai International Port Group released its latest artificial intelligence innovation product system.
This intelligent innovation product system achieves a four-in-one synergy of "data + model + intelligent agent + application." Among them, the WindFireWheel dataset transforms scattered information from real scenarios, such as tens of millions of terminal operation records and equipment conditions, into a high-value knowledge base, providing a high-quality and reliable "test set" for AI training in the port's professional domain. The Lotus Seat capability platform is an AI foundational capability base specifically designed for ports. This platform relies on the intelligent agent management and control platform to achieve full lifecycle management of intelligent agents, from design and development to operational optimization.
At the application level, the newly developed terminal operating system based on AI-native architecture integrates a full-chain intelligent agent cluster from planning and scheduling to execution. It also supports issuing commands directly in natural language, assisting frontline terminal operators in conducting production operations more intuitively, conveniently, and effortlessly, thereby creating a new model of port operations where "the system perceives data, AI assists decision-making, and intelligent agents execute."
The release of this product system outlines a clear blueprint for the port industry to transition from "labor and resource-intensive" to "technology and knowledge-intensive" full-scale intelligence. To transform these innovations into widely replicable and promotable technical solutions, Shanghai International Port Group, Nezha Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Tongji University jointly drafted the "White Paper on Port Intelligent Agent Construction," providing a panoramic technical roadmap from top-level design to implementation for port operators and solution providers.
