All 17 of the Yangtze River Delta’s first batch of interprovincial “isolated road” projects have now been fully connected.
Focusing on the two keywords "integration" and "high quality," the Yangtze River Delta integration continues to make new progress.
Infrastructure interconnection is accelerating. All 17 provincial "dead-end roads" projects in the Yangtze River Delta have been completed. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the Yangtze River Delta railway completed construction investment of over 640 billion yuan, opening and operating 21 key projects such as the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou high-speed railway; there are 34 railway projects under construction, including the early construction section of the Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed railway, with a total investment scale of over 900 billion yuan. The digital platform for shipping trade is accelerating construction, launching 197 application scenarios such as electronic bills of lading, electronic cargo release, and electronic letters of credit. The Shanghai Airport-Suzhou forward cargo station has officially been put into use, achieving integrated supervision across provinces, cities, and customs areas, saving logistics time by 12-24 hours compared to the conventional model, and reducing ground logistics costs by 10%-30%.
The level of convenient sharing of public services continues to improve. The Yangtze River Delta "One Network Service" platform has opened cross-provincial government services for over 300 items, with a cumulative total of over 15.21 million online transactions, and more than 40 types of high-frequency electronic certificates shared and mutually recognized.
Progress has been made in the construction of regional market integration. The three provinces and one city have coordinated anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition actions, with 32 cities relying on the Yangtze River Delta remote off-site evaluation system to conduct cross-regional remote evaluations. The Yangtze River Delta credit chain platform plays a role, sharing 31.52 million credit reports on the chain, with 23.29 million enterprises on the chain, providing credit report inquiries for financial institutions 11.22 million times. The Yangtze River Delta data sharing platform has accumulated 913 data directories, registered 1,348 data resources, and cumulatively shared and exchanged 18.175 billion government data entries.
During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the Yangtze River Delta will take the lead in demonstrating the deepening of the construction of a unified national market, continuously improving policy uniformity, rule consistency, and execution coordination. Strengthen cross-regional infrastructure planning to achieve a higher level of "hard connectivity." Promote the construction of a 1-hour commuting circle, enhance the economic density, industrial level, and value creation ability of metropolitan areas; improve the level of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor and the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Belt; plan to create a number of key cross-domain development areas with relatively suitable spatial scales and stronger functional radiation driving effects.
