On March 12, 2025, the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress held its closing meeting in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In the presence of party and state leaders, the meeting reviewed and voted on a number of important resolutions and legal documents. The core results include: the approval of the government work report and the outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development; the adoption of the the People's Republic of China Ecological Environment Code, the the People's Republic of China National Unity and Progress Promotion Law, and the the People's Republic of China National Development Planning Law Key laws provide a solid guarantee for the construction of national ecological civilization, the cause of national unity and progress, and the legalization of the planning system; the 2026 national economic and social development plan and the central budget were reviewed and approved; the work reports of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuratorate were reviewed and approved. in addition, the meeting also approved a report on the legal clean-up work. The successful conclusion of the meeting marks the completion of the country's annual major political agenda and points out the direction for economic and social development and the construction of the rule of law in the coming year.

　　The resolution on the implementation of the 2025 central and local budgets and the 2026 central and local budgets, approving the 2026 central budget;

　　The resolution on the work report of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress;

　　The resolution on the work report of the Supreme People's Court;

　　The resolution on the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate;

　　The decision on approving the report of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the situation of legal review work and the handling opinions of relevant laws and decisions.
