On July 14th, the third "Fuzhou Port Open Day" event at Jiangyin Port Area was successfully completed. This event, themed "Lucky Fuzhou Port," focused on the core content of "Jiangyin Port Area Smart Port Experience." It invited teenagers and parent representatives who had previously participated in the "Fuzhou Port in Children's Eyes" painting exhibition to visit the port area, immersively experiencing the achievements of smart and green port construction, and building a bridge of communication between the port and the public.

On the day of the event, teenagers and parent representatives visited Ronggang Terminal and Xingang Terminal, embarking on a port exploration journey that combined technological innovation and knowledge. At Ronggang Terminal, they observed the province's first fully electric terminal on-site, experiencing the effectiveness of green and low-carbon facilities up close—electric container trucks can swap batteries in just 3 minutes and operate continuously for 8 hours on a full charge. Without the roar and exhaust of traditional diesel engines, there was only the low hum of electric equipment. Teenagers and parent representatives stopped in front of the green port-themed exhibition boards, attentively listening to the guides explain the technological secrets behind "zero emissions," gaining a direct understanding of the port area's achievements in energy conservation, emission reduction, and ecological protection, and recording the ecological beauty of the green port.

Moving to the forefront of Xingang Terminal, the grand container operation scene was awe-inspiring. As the largest single-unit container terminal area in the province, automated rail-mounted cranes, remote-controlled quay cranes, and unmanned intelligent guided vehicles (IGVs) shuttled back and forth, showcasing the digitalized operation scenes. This allowed teenagers and parent representatives to directly experience the cutting-edge strength of a modernized port. Later, the group entered the Smart Center, where they watched port promotional videos and listened to professional explanations to gain an in-depth understanding of core technologies such as remote control systems and smart logistics platforms, unlocking the "technological secrets" of the smart port.

From the green and low-carbon operational terminals to the digitally-driven Smart Center, from on-site observations to professional knowledge explanations, this event broke the boundaries between the classroom and the deep blue sea. It transformed the concepts of green ports and smart ports from abstract ideas into tangible, knowable, and personally experienceable real-life scenarios. Teenagers and parent representatives witnessed the achievements of port development firsthand, experienced the charm of port and shipping technology, and planted the seeds of aspiring to strengthen the maritime industry and pursue dreams of the port in their hearts.
