Analysis on PVC production: In January 2023, the domestic PVC production reached 1.9139 million tons, an increase of 5.99% month on month and 2.86% year-on-year. Among them, the production based on the calcium carbide method was 1.4703 million tons, up 6.65% month-on-month and down 3.03% year-on-year; the production based on the ethylene method was 0.4436 million tons, up 3.84% month-on-month and 28.81% year-on-year.
Analysis on PVC plant operating rate: The domestic PVC plant operating rate was 81.76% in January 2023, a year-on-year decrease of 0.55%.
