Analysis on PVC production: In May 2023, the domestic PVC production reached 1.8666 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 3.83% and a year-on-year increase of 2.56%. The cumulative production of PVC products was 9.3482 million tons from January to May. In May, the PVC production based on the calcium carbide method was 1.4095 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 5.62% and a year-on-year decrease of 8.42%. The PVC production based on the ethylene method was 0.4571 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 6.69% while a year-on-year increase of 13.76%.
