Product Characteristics

KM2022 is a leveling agent for aqueous systems and polar solvent-based coatings. lt is primarilyused in water-based industrial paints and industrial coatings. lt effectively improves flow andleveling, substrate wetting, and air release.KM2022 is a highly effective surface tension modifier, used at low addition levels. The productoffers excellent substrate wetting, thereby preventing crater and pit formation, as well as avoidingissues of insufficient coverage when the coating is applied to substrates with poor cleaning or lowsurface tension. KM2022 provides excellent surface smoothness, anti-crawling and anti-cratering properties, andeliminates flooding, floating, and foam formation. lt is suitable for both pigmented and clear coatsystems.

Addition Level and Method:

The optimal addition level for KM2022 depends on the system and application; over-additionshould be avoided to prevent affecting recoatability. KM2022 can be added at any stage of paintproductn.

The recommended addition level is between 0.05% and 0.4%, calculated on the total weight of thecoating formulation.

It is strongly recommended to determine the appropriate addition level based on practicalexperience, considering performance and compatibility, and through testing under realisticconditions.

Packaging and Storage

Packaged in 25 kg / 200 kg drums. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Storagetemperature: 1-49°C. Shelf life: 24 months
