Carbon Black Market Impact Analysis
1. Upstream Raw Materials: Coal tar prices were 4,000 yuan/ton in Shandong, 4,230 yuan/ton in Shanxi, and 4,030 yuan/ton in Hebei. The domestic high-temperature coal tar market remains mainly in a wait-and-see mode. In some regions, coal tar supply and demand are relatively tight; therefore, there is still a possibility of price increases in the coal tar market in the short term.
2. Carbon Black Supply: The operating rate of sampled enterprises in the domestic carbon black market showed a narrow increase. A major manufacturer in East China and some small factories are undergoing maintenance, while some large manufacturers are adjusting their production lines. Recently, the fluctuation in the market operating rate has been limited.
3. Downstream Demand: It is understood that a few tire companies have scheduled short-term maintenance affected by raw material supply issues, while most other companies maintain stable operations. End-of-month shipment performance was average, with differentiated overall shipments during the month. Most companies experienced slow shipments in the domestic market. Although foreign trade shipments still provide some support, overall sales pressure persists, and some companies have maintenance arrangements scheduled for early next month.

Market Outlook
As of now, partial coal tar raw material bidding prices have been released, showing limited increases so far. Cost-side support has weakened. Downstream tire procurement of new orders has basically concluded, and transaction prices are on the low side. Therefore, after carbon black prices followed the uptrend, downstream purchasing capacity remained average, and actual transactions were relatively weak. It is expected that new orders will mainly maintain price firmness.
