The first customized rail freight train since Hainan Free Trade Port’s border closure has departed.
China News Service, Haikou, March 18 (Li Songlin) On the morning of March 18, a customized train loaded with Sinopec's deep-processed resin products, numbered 81666, departed from Haikou Railway Port Station and headed towards Guangzhou International Port. This marks the successful launch of the first customized train after the full island closure operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port, adding an efficient, stable, and green logistics corridor between Hainan and Guangdong.
The goods carried by this train are customs-supervised chemical products processed and value-added by Hainan Refining, strictly following the customs processing value-added duty-free goods supervision policy requirements under the closed operation of the "second-line port." All parties have established an efficient collaboration mechanism to open a fast channel from "factory to market," reducing the transportation time from the traditional 5 days to 2.5 days, achieving end-to-end full-process logistics services within 3 days, significantly improving efficiency.
Relevant persons pointed out that from regional logistics optimization to stable operation of the industrial chain, the launch of the customized train provides solid support for the smooth connection between the Hainan Free Trade Port and the national unified market under the new closed operation pattern, and has a good demonstration significance for building an efficient, green, and safe modern chemical logistics system.
