On November 8, 2024, the Pengjiang Branch of Jiangmen Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau released the pre-approval announcement of the environmental impact assessment document of Jiangmen Asus Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Asus Technology").
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations on the submission and approval process of environmental impact assessments of construction projects, the Pengjiang Branch of Jiangmen Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau is thus minded to approve the "Environmental Impact Report Form for the Construction Project of ASUS Technology's Annual Production of Powder Coatings in the Amount of 10,000 Ton". To ensure the principles of openness, fairness, and justice, and to enhance public participation, comments and views are to be made open for 5 working days, commencing from November 14, 2024. During the publicity period, any opinions can be written to or verbally expressed to the Pengjiang Branch of Jiangmen Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau.
Manufacturer raw and auxiliary materials for the project are: 3,000 tons epoxy resin/year, 2,300 tons polyester resin/year, 2,140 tons barium sulfate/year, 1,500 tons titanium dioxide/year, 810 tons calcium sulfate/year, and 257.2 tons carbon black/year. It includes also pearlescent powder 2 tons/year;
The production equipment configuration comprises 20 mixers, 20 extruders, 20 tablet crushers, 15 grinding machines, 2 binding machines, 3 cooling towers, 2 air compressors, 1 diameter distribution meter for granulators, 8 small powder spraying cabinets, 8 spray guns, 8 small ovens (electricity), 2 gelatinizers, 1 whiteness meter, and one colorimetrically complete with analyzer.
