Conference Background

Against the backdrop of the deepening Belt and Road Initiative and the continuous upgrading of the China–Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the digital economy has become a core driving force for industrial cooperation between the two countries.

As a strategic hub of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Pakistan is accelerating its industrial transformation in sectors such as digital infrastructure, agriculture, machinery manufacturing, and industrial internet applications. The demand for industrial upgrading and digital transformation continues to grow.

As a leading industrial internet platform enterprise in China, IBI has spent years building a development model centered on “Platform + Technology + Data.” To implement its globalization strategy, IBI officially established the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters in Islamabad, creating a new bridge for industrial digitalization cooperation between China and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry will convene its first council meeting. Through joint efforts of the two chambers of commerce, both sides will further promote the development of industrial supply chains, deepen industrial cooperation, and jointly open a new chapter in China–Pakistan digital economy and industrial collaboration.
