Highlights at a glance
High-flexibility PVC resin for joints is a specialized suspension-polymerized homopolymer designed for pipe fittings, valves, and connections. Unlike rigid PVC, it offers exceptional elasticity through controlled polymerization (K-value ~76), preventing cracks under temperature shifts (-15°C to 50°C) or ground movement. Key advantages include balanced flexibility and rigidity: it withstands 0.4–1.0 MPa pressure, resists corrosion from weak acids/alkalis, and maintains dimensional stability (bulk density 0.50±0.04 g/cm³). With PVC content >99.8% and low volatiles (≤0.3%), it suits municipal water systems, agricultural irrigation, and light industrial applications. Processable via extrusion/injection molding, it meets GB/T 5761-2018 standards and is widely produced in China. This material ensures durable, leak-resistant piping in low-pressure environments.
