Beijing “Two Excellences and One Advanced” Commendation Conference Held; IBI Awarded the Title of “Beijing Advanced Primary-Level Party Organization in Emerging Fields”

Recently, the Beijing “Two Excellences and One Advanced” Commendation Conference was held to honor outstanding CPC members, outstanding Party affairs workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations in Beijing. At the conference, the Party Branch of Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorary title of “Beijing Advanced Primary-Level Party Organization in Emerging Fields.”

Introduction:

On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Beijing held the “Two Excellences and One Advanced” Commendation Conference on the morning of June 29, honoring outstanding CPC members, outstanding Party affairs workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations in the city. Yin Li, Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, emphasized that Party organizations at all levels and Party members and officials across the city should thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, take advanced role models as benchmarks, strengthen confidence, boost morale, and resolutely shoulder the historic responsibility of advancing the development of the capital in the new era. They should take concrete actions to better serve the overall work of the Party and the country, better meet the people’s aspirations for a better life, and strive to create more achievements that can stand the test of practice, the people, and history. Yin Yong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Beijing, presided over the meeting, and Li Xiuling, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People’s Congress, attended.

Yin Li extended sincere greetings to Party members working across all fronts in the city and expressed congratulations to the outstanding individuals and advanced collectives that received commendations. He noted that over the 105 years since its founding, the Party has always remained true to its original aspiration and founding mission, uniting and leading the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in continuous struggle through the periods of revolution, construction, and reform, and completing a magnificent and glorious journey. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, General Secretary Xi Jinping, focusing on the major question of what kind of long-term governing Marxist party to build and how to build such a party, has put forward a series of new concepts, thoughts, and strategies on governing the Party, strengthening the Party, and ensuring its vitality, forming Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building. This provides the fundamental guidance and action plan for further advancing the great new project of Party building in the new era. As the capital, Beijing must deeply understand the decisive significance of the “Two Establishes,” resolutely uphold the “Two Safeguards,” always regard Party building as a fundamental undertaking, comprehensively strengthen the Party’s leadership, and give better play to the role of Party organizations as fighting fortresses and Party members as vanguards and role models, thereby providing strong political guarantees for continuously opening up new prospects for Chinese modernization in the capital.

Yin Li pointed out that the individuals and collectives commended this time are outstanding representatives emerging in recent years from various fronts, fields, and undertakings across the capital. Through their concrete actions, they have vividly demonstrated that “every organization is a fortress, and every Party member is a banner.” They have clearly embodied the Party’s fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, fully displayed the spirit and character of Party members in the capital, and served as models for the entire city to learn from and examples close at hand. Efforts should be made to vigorously learn from and carry forward their political integrity of firm conviction and loyalty to the Party, their fighting spirit of fearing neither hardship nor difficulty, their sincere commitment to caring for the people and bringing benefits to them, their sense of responsibility in pursuing innovation, striving for excellence, and daring to make breakthroughs, and their practical work style of dedication and quiet contribution. The inspiring power of role models should be truly integrated into self-cultivation, and their exemplary guidance should be incorporated into entrepreneurship and practical work, so as to advance the development of the capital in the new era with greater vigor and determination. The study of advanced role models should be combined with the ongoing study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, creating a strong social atmosphere that respects, learns from, and strives to become advanced examples.

Yin Li emphasized that Beijing must anchor itself to the goal of taking the lead in basically realizing socialist modernization and strive to create new achievements on the new journey. The city must take the lead and set an example in upholding political principles and serving the overall situation, bearing in mind that “when looking at Beijing, one must first look from a political perspective.” It must faithfully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches, instructions, and directives, as well as the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, ensuring that orders are carried out without obstruction and that directives are followed promptly and effectively. Party members and officials must consciously use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to strengthen their ideals and convictions, and achieve unity between learning, thinking, application, understanding, belief, and action. Beijing must take the lead and set an example in pursuing practical work and promoting development, closely focusing on the “Four Centers” and “Four Services” to continuously optimize and enhance the capital’s functions. It should give full play to its strengths in education, science and technology, and talent, vigorously develop new quality productive forces, and accelerate the building of a modern industrial system with Beijing characteristics. It should better coordinate high-quality development with high-level security and resolutely safeguard harmony and stability in the capital. Beijing must take the lead and set an example in understanding public concerns and solving people’s difficulties, going deep into communities and among the people, proactively seeking advice and understanding needs from the public. It should deepen the reform of the swift response to public complaints mechanism, focus on the “seven haves” and “five needs,” firmly safeguard the bottom line of public services for the elderly and children, especially the very elderly and very young children, as well as social security and assistance for people in difficulty, and continuously enhance the people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security. Beijing must also take the lead and set an example in strengthening work conduct and building a positive image, firmly establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, persistently implementing the central Party leadership’s eight-point decision on improving conduct, resolutely opposing formalism and bureaucratism, and promoting coordinated efforts to ensure that officials do not dare, are unable, and have no desire to engage in corruption, thereby fostering a clean and upright political environment.

Yin Li required that Party committees and leading Party members groups at all levels across the city earnestly implement the general requirements for Party building in the new era and the Party’s organizational line in the new era, and solidly promote primary-level Party building across all fields. Beijing should adopt targeted measures based on different categories and coordinate efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of Party building in traditional sectors such as government organs, state-owned enterprises, and schools. It should advance Party building in new economic organizations, new social organizations, and new employment groups in an integrated manner, continuously expanding the Party’s appeal, cohesion, and influence in emerging fields. It should also steadily promote Party building to support rural revitalization and continuously improve rural governance. Strict education and management of Party members should be strengthened, guiding all Party members to continuously demonstrate new vitality and new achievements.

At the meeting, the decision of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee on commending outstanding CPC members, outstanding Party affairs workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations in Beijing was announced, and awards were presented to representatives of the honorees. He Maodong, representative of Beijing’s Outstanding CPC Members and Deputy Chief Engineer of Beijing Jingyi Automation Equipment Technology Co., Ltd.; Liu Chunying, representative of Beijing’s Outstanding Party Affairs Workers and Party Secretary of Xiaonanzhuang Community, Haidian Subdistrict, Haidian District; and Wang Chaohui, representative of Beijing’s Advanced Primary-Level Party Organizations and Party Secretary of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Beijing University of Technology, delivered speeches.
