Product Overview

Flash rust inhibitor CK149 is refined from organic compounds and polymers, it has a certain flash rust inhibition effect on different substrates, it is suitable for various metal substrates such as iron, cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, etc. It has good compatibility with coating system, it doesn't affect the drying speed of the coatings and adhesion to the substrate, and it can improve the antirust performance of the coatings.

Product Characteristics

1.organic polymers can interact with metal ions in corrosive media to generate insoluble polymers that coat metal surfaces and inhibit metal electrochemical corrosion

2.can form a layer of metal passivation film on the metal surface in contact with water to isolate the metal and water, thus inhibiting the corrosion of the metal.

3.is nitrite-free and environmentally friendly.

4.Suitable for waterborne acrylic, waterborne alkyd and other different systems

Usage

1.It is recommended to add in the final stage of waterborne paint preparation

2.Recommended to add 0.1-1% of the total formula to solve the problem of flash rust.

3.Inhibit flash rust of weld, cast iron, carbon steel, recommended additive amount is 1-2%.

Storage & Transportation

Ideal temperature conditions: 5 to 35°C. Exposure: Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

Expiry date: 1 year in its original closed drum under the above storage conditions.

The color of the product may darken over time, but will not change its properties.
