Product Overview
HY72 has excellent flash rust inhibition effect on various metal substrates, applicable to iron, cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel and other metals. It can make the metal surface form a dense passivation film, and at the same time can form a protective layer of adsorption film to separate the metal surface and corrosive media to inhibit the production of rust. It is suitable for all kinds of water-based coating systems, has synergistic effect with anticorrosive pigments, and has good compatibility with coating systems. It is an efficient general-purpose anti-flash rust agent. It does not affect the drying speed of the paint and the adhesion of the paint to the substrate, and can improve the rustproof performance and salt spray resistance of the paint.
Fields of application
Mainly used in water-based steel structure paint, water-based automotive paint, water-based mechanical and electrical coatings and other water-based coatings.
Characteristics

Usage
Recommended to be added at the final stage of waterborne paint preparation.
0.1-1% of the total formulation is recommended to solve flash rust problems.
Inhibits flash rust on weld seams, cast iron and sandblasted iron at 1-2%.
